Turner Moves to Attendance Supervisor Role

Interim Superintendent Anna Shepherd announces Brenda Turner will be the new Attendance Supervisor for Floyd County Schools. She fills the vacancy left by longtime Attendance Supervisor Linda Rice.

 

Brenda Turner has been with Floyd County Schools for 34 years. She has worked as an attendance clerk and office manager at Allen Central High School and moved to the district central office where she became a secretary.


Shepherd says, “Brenda Turner has worked for Floyd County through her roles for many years. She sets the standard for customer service and her dedication to our children and our staff is unmatched.” Shepherd continues, “Brenda is one of those people that you always look forward to seeing. So when former Floyd County Schools’ students need certificates of age or transcripts from our former high schools Allen Central and South Floyd, Brenda will be the one who will help you here at the central office.”


Brenda and Lee, her husband of 37 years, are parents to Jason, Jeremy and Tiffany, Brenda’s favorite place to visit is Pigeon Forge in Tennessee because of so many memories of time spent with her family there.
