Floyd County Superintendent Anna Shepherd congratulates the Floyd County Schools’ teams and individual students who excelled in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Region 13 tournament.
Superintendent Shepherd comments, “Congratulations Prestonsburg High School and Adams Middle School Blackcat Archery on once again becoming regional champions! The strength and consistency of this program is apparent when you see regional championship after regional championship going to these teams!”
Prestonsburg High ranked #1 on the leaderboard with Floyd Central High coming in 3rd and Betsy Layne High coming in 4th. Adams Middle ranked 1st on the middle school leaderboard with Duff-Allen Central ES coming in at 3rd and Betsy Layne ES coming in at 5th.
Shepherd closes by saying, “Please join us in wishing them the very best in upcoming tournaments they have, the KHSAA Regional and then State NASP and KHSAA.”
