School Library Media
Our purpose is to provide on-going communication and a place for sharing resources/strategies and important items for discussion in the content areas of school library media.
The Library Media Center plays an integral role in the education of students. It is our responsibility to help enrich, supplement, and coordinate the existing educational programs in a manner that supports the philosophy of the Floyd County School District.
As library media specialists, our mission is "to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information" (8). Together, we can work for the betterment of our students in their quest to be life long learners.
