Summer Feeding Information
Floyd County School District Summer Feeding Program
The Floyd County School District will be providing Free Meals for all children from ages 1 through 18 years of age. Parents have the choice of bringing their children to any of our school sites listed below or they can receive free meals at any of our mobile site locations. School Sites and Mobile Site locations are open to any child from 1 year of age up to 18 years of age no matter where you live or go to school.
- Children must eat their meal at the site. Entire meals can’t be taken off of the site. This has changed compared to the last 2 summer meal programs when a child could take the meal home to eat. This is a federal regulation we must follow.
- Only 1 vegetable or 1 fruit may be taken off site according to the federal regulation.
- School sites will be open for children to come in for breakfast between the hours of 8:00am till 10:00am. A child will receive 1 breakfast per day.
- School Sites will be open for children to come in for lunch between the hours of 11:00am till 1:00pm. A child will receive 1 lunch per day.
- Mobile sites will provide a lunch meal to children each day.
- Meals are FREE to any child no matter where you live or go to school.
